if you vacuum all the spiders then the inside of the bag becomes like a little commune where they grow their own food and multiply at will, then when its time to empty the bag they burst forth like night of the living dead!
you know, of course, this means when the bags full you simply have to throw out the entire vacuum and get a new one.
The spiders don't survive the process if, before turning the machine off, you push the nozzle into the floor for a while to make sure that there's no possibility of them being able to breathe.
----------------------------------------------------------------- <-- That's from my cat. I figured if Nooter, a dog, could comment, why not my cat? Anyway, I digress. If you smush them with a towel, you don't have to worry about them escaping. At least, that's what I've found. ;)
LOL...I ALWAYS have to kill the spiders too!!!
ReplyDeletea the spider outwits the humans again! I catch em and set em free .. that is is my cat doesn't "play" with it til its dead.
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling a little sorry for the spider!

I too kill spiders with my little vacuum!!
ReplyDeleteHelena's just gone to bed, after I had to vacuum up a spider that was in her room, so your cartoon is very apt. Except that I don't let them escape...
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean that you've given up eating them?

I love it. We are all about the letting them live unless they are bigger than a human head, which around here they are. Then it's squish!
ReplyDeleteFor now I am keeping my spiders because they are eating the hoards of mosquitos that are terrorizing us...just for a little while and the Wham! Splat!
